If grid-based games appeal to you, Block Wood Puzzle delivers a board full of wooden shapes and a clear aim: keep the grid from locking up. You can play it online at https://www.theepochtimes.com/epochfun/block-wood-puzzle-4102627
and see how long you can keep placing blocks before the board runs out of space.
Each round starts with an empty square grid and three wooden shapes at the bottom of the screen. The shapes vary—long bars, chunky clusters, neat squares—and you must drag them onto the board. Whenever you complete a full row or column, that line disappears, giving you more room.
The game ends when none of the current shapes can fit anywhere. That makes every placement a small choice. Do you clear a line today or hold out for a bigger setup? Over time, these choices add up, and you start to see the board less as random pieces and more as a pattern you can shape.
One appealing trait of Block Wood Puzzle is the steady rhythm.
