Eine schwarzbraune Oberfläche aus pyramidenförmigen Höckern und eine von weißen Adern durchzogene braune Fruchtmasse ähnlich dem Perigorrd. Darin befindet sich die Gleba, die von feinen, meist helleren Adern durchzogene Fruchtmasse. Ein großer Erfolg: Französischen Forschern ist es gelungen, Weiße Trüffel im Labor zu kultivieren.
